About Dr. Appleton
My name is Dr. Jasmine Appleton and I have over 15 years of experience helping my clients and patients work through underlying issues in order to be the best version of themselves. I use DBT, CBT, and meditation based practices to help you gain self-awareness, and insight into your thoughts and behaviors. I educate my clients on what is happening psychologically, emotionally, and neurologically in order to work on self-acceptance, which in turn, trickles into all aspects of our lives including interpersonal relationships. I also encourage family members to attend, as family dynamics create the construct of our present self.

Specialties and approach
I specialize in working with adults and couples who are going through life transitions, as well mental health, trauma, and addiction issues. I work with my clients to understand how our upbringing shapes our current thoughts and behaviors. Through this understanding, we can work together and build the bases for authentic, peaceful living.
I incorporate meditation, vagus nerve regulation, and breathing exercises to help my clients learn how to self-regulate in order to observe an emotion or thought, rather than initially reacting to it. I also specialize in EFT (Emotion Freedom Technique), which is an acupressure based system used to overcome emotions, addictions, and traumas.
